Thanks, Howard. Finally got out of the first series this spring. One correction to this thread. I'm pretty sure that Al Arthur handled the Open dogs and Hugh Arthur handled the Q and D dogs. Don't want to short change Al. Good on Team Sandhill for a great weekend. Heard Stomper also got 2nd in the AM

Congratulations Dave!

I think it is also interesting to note all of the success that the Arthurs are having with the Duboses Derby Dog "Invinceablity" (call name Csonka).

Lynne Dubose says that Csonka was "washed out" by the trainers at Handjem before he was sent to the Arthurs. Now he's on the derby list. It must be very gratifying for Hugh and Al to successfully give a dog a second chance.

Here's hoping that their success continues.

I helped whelp the Q winner! He's by Ram out of Jamie's littermate, BP's Gotta Jewel Ruby. I don't know if they call him Dex or Chester, but congrats to his owners and trainer, who I believe is Hugh and Al Arthur.
