I recommend highly to all of you...stop watching, listening and reading news.

Since I stopped banking and came a fulltime employee at our pet resort, I don't have time to follow the news, and when I have a little time, last thing I want is to use that time for is news. I would much rather be down on the lake drinking beer and feeding my bait fish that feed my bass. Only thing relavent to me is the weather and I have an app on my phone for that.

Life is better and it doesn't matter anyway, I have no control over what they do.

Try it!! You will be better for it!!!!!!!

Havent watched the news in a while other than the weather. Mike's right...better things to do. I was tired of only getting part of the story.

I can't, I am addicted to hard news! I am so codependent on hard news that I even have Sirius/XM on my boat. Nothing like reeling in a Red or Spec listening to POTUS channel 124.;) Not sure how it will go over in the goose pit though.

I've limited my news consumption considerably in the last year and the world seems to be clicking along pretty much as before without my supervision. It was a career change that did it for me, too. My wife told me last night that I needed to catch back up on what's going on because I'm her source of information. But what I'm finding is that it's pretty much SSDD. As I've long suspected, it doesn't matter who's in charge because there's really no difference between the Republicans and the Democrats. Without the talking heads telling us every day that the other side is evil, it gets pretty easy to see that. Oh well.

It's very difficult not to listen to the news when you know that a family member may be sent to one of these hot spots and might come to harm. Friends have family members already in harm's way. Can't ignore that fact at all.

I have never watched much of what the talking heads consider news. Weather, the markets (which tell you a lot if you are paying attention) & SPORTS.

One thing I have noticed, in your absence from this forum, the quality of discourse has improved. So I wish you lots of business & the hope that your bass grow to catchable size!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks!!!! I assume everyone is in agreement based on your statement! Don't worry, everytime I get a chance to peek in I do, and if you guys are way off line I'll handle you back. Don't have to follow the news to do that. I hear 4 words and I know what they are selling that day.
