After a lot of hard work, my first field trial dog ?Darla? has reached her first milestone, Qualified All Age! 8)
Candlewoods Lil Smokin Tequila, 2/5/02.
(FC-AFC Carolinas Smoke On The Water x FC-AFC Tequila Sunrise IX). Darla qualified at the Labrador Retriever Club trial where judges Don Driggers and Rex Bell awarded her second place. Don and Rex set up some very good tests in the qualifying stake. The 100+ degree heat index added to the difficulty. We?ll continue training her towards our next goal, placing in an All-Age Stake.
Thanks to everyone who has help us along the way, especially Hugh & Al Arthur.

Thanks a lot everyone, we appreciate it. She is a nice little dog and I'm hoping she'll step it up knotch to be competive in the AA stakes soon. Her brother just made his AFC so I guess we've got some catching up to do.
If we do have success in AA stakes we'll probably be seeking out the very best mate for her.

Breck, don't know who I missed this but, a belated Congrats! Hope your Tripi pup is doing well also. Four from the repeat breeding are doing well in Derby. One won a Derby last weekend.

I second Booty's comments.

Congrats on the achievement to all involved.
