Less than stellar. Picked up in the 3rd along with 4/5 others and headed home. There were a few dogs that had done very nice work in the 3rd and lots of others that managed to get the birds...... Not sure if they were running a 4th series or not, don't think they really needed to.
Had never been to the Topeka trial, very nice grounds and wouldn't be to hard to find a good setup.

Larry and Lorre Morgan's Delta won the Open with Paul Knutson handling.
I think Eckett got second but don't know which dog. Rorem got third and fourth but again, don't know which dog.
Not much help as I was camped at the Am all day

Chris,
They lost 8 in the 3rd who did not pickup the chickens and cut 3 of us who did and then called placements - Bullet :( , Leynyrd and Mazie being the "cuts" - no 4th. Seems like the solid wok in the 1/2 didn't matter.
