I am looking for a well made vacuum food sealer. Any suggestions would be great.

We've got the Food Saver brand... love it. My hubby hunts all sorts of "critters" and we couldn't be without the Food Saver to freeze all this meat.

My Food Saver is the V1085. Works great on all my ducks and other game meats. I also by bulk at Costco and freeze a lot, including cheese. No freezer burn and very long "shelf" life.

I can get some seemingly great prices on Foodsavers. I guess I'll have to look at the features.
VAC900 - $65
VAC1075 - $80
Professional II - $140

Food saver is the best. I know several folks with them and they all love them. Mine is about 2 years old and no trouble.

I just picked up the Pro II at a Tuesday Morning for $140. I couldn't make up my mind, so I went with loaded one. I cannot wait to use it.
