Lynn,

Let's just say Sargenti is on his way home already. :(

They finished the Derby yesterday and though I don't have any other placements, I heard Linda Browne won with KC's Hair Apparent.

This club has trophies with the names engraved of winners. I believe that Linda is now listed three times on the Derby trophy:

Emberain Rugby (now AFC) won at under a year (10 or 11 months old).
KC's Hair Apparent won last year at 11 months old and now again this year.

"Harry" is a "Rugby" son bred by Kaye Fuller. Congratulations to Linda!

Thanks Melanie, Good for Linda!!! Saw her get fourth last weekend and looking very sharp! Excellent, but I am sure Billy is saying "Bad dog!" to our little Reagan in her second Derby. Last weekend he yelled NO when she tried to switch even though she was clean on five birds. It's all training for the big stakes with him.
Again, congrats to your Golden friends! Glad someone we know has good luck up there at Lassen!

Are you guys saying that a dog that is less than a year old is already an AFC and just won an am this past weekend?

Ken, Linda Browne's goldens seem to do well there. The dog that won the derby Friday also won it last year. His sire AFC Emberain Rugby won it three years ago as a very young pup, too.

I had to be more than 3 years ago since I ran that derby with my 7, about to turn 8 year old. Rugby made the derby list before he was a year old.
What an awsome dog. Linda does very well with her young goldens.

7 dogs finished the Qualifying. I don't know who placed but do know the following:

RJAM - Dandy, BLF, Gary Johnson owner, Gary Abbott handler
JAM - Coal, BLF, Tom Patillo owner, Gary Abbott handler
JAM - Wildfire's Super Treasure (Maggie) , GRF, Bente Pasko owner, Gary Abbott handler

Gary Abbott also handled Rose to a RJAM in the Derby (Jeff van den Top owner)

Thanks Gary!
