A little history in the making. A Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever ran the Q and took 2nd place. This is only Raisin's 2nd Qualifying.

Rainsin is owned by Sue Kish of Glen Robertson, Ontario. She has been trained by Sue. Raisin was handled by Pierre Mathieu. When asked how she ran, Pierre's response was "gorgeous".

Our hats come off to Sue, Raisin and Pierre I hope they hear us cheering all the way from California.

We are not sure but we think it has been twenty plus years since a Toller has placed in a FT in Canada.

With enormous admiration,

Nancy

Raisin's first Q was at Quebec City, where she placed 3rd. I wrote Sue and asked if this was another Toller "first" for Raisin. She replied,

> There were 2 Tollers that ran in the FT's some yrs back. One ran in the
> Derby and Q about 30 yrs ago, the other about 20 yrs ago placed in the AM out in the Prairies. It was a different game then.
> Raisin is the first bitch.

My hat is off in appreciation of the work they have all done towards these results. May there be more! - Jennifer Adsit
