My dog, HRCH Frontier's Cherokee Rebel MH, ran today. He became ill on the trip out, but after seeing a vet, was well enough to run. (Thank goodness!)

According to Rebel's trainer, the test was a land triple with pheasants in rolling terrain and a double blind with an honor.

Any one else have any updates or reports, please post.

A small update:
Master B was running a water triple plus a diversion, doing about 6 dogs an hour. Not sure where they ended the day, we left about 4 and they had run 41 dogs. Several double handles including my poor job with Pixie, many handles on the out of order flyer. The test was tight. I would guess a 50% handle rate.

Marty had our Austin # 60 do a clean job and Hustle #69 had a handle.

Master A had a land triple with phesants., an honor plus a double blind They stopped at #97 so they ran 56 dogs, there were 22 cleans jobs I am told.

No partial callbacks, the grounds are very nice, lite rain for maybe 2 hours, mid 60 temps.

Looks like after loosing 13 dogs in the fifth series, Division A has 41 dogs going to the sixth and final series. Division B has 43 dogs left after loosing 16 in the fifth, they have 43 dogs going to the sixth and final series.

Frontier, congradulations on getting to the sixth, good luck today, and i hope you bring home a silver plate. JM

99% of the time, all the dogs in the 6th are going to pass unless they do something fundamentally wrong like break... Although the 6th series in TX was rather meaty compared to 6th series historically... I'm sure we lost some there. But generally the 6th is for fun, so wouldn't be surprised if the numbers stay close to where they're at. Congrats to all the contestants who made it.

I don't think this years last series was a easy fun test at all. Division A lost 24% of their dogs, on test #5, and Division B is is running this as their last test. And Division B lost 27% of their dogs on test #5, which Division A is running as their last test. It's gonna be interesting.

Yeah, I noticed they weren't combining the groups... I'm excited to see how it goes. Hate being on the east coast...

Lyle said he just ran at a bad time of day. The sun was glaring off of the water into there eyes. He really felt any other time of day he would have been fine. The time you run can be a huge factor out there in a all day test.
