And I almost forgot...the annual trophy for highest scoring Golden at the trial goes to Haley Castelli after being won by Team Jake for the last two years.

Jams
#6 - Maccabees Enchanted Dram, Reichman/Doolittle

And I saw that award for the highest placing golden that Mike and Haley won - it was a very large, super absorbant towel hand selected by John Gassner - cause that poor fluffy dog had to run FOUR water marks !!!

Open placements

1st- Schattzie Nona Bauer

2nd Dyna (I think) Susan Kretchel

3rd One of Vickie's dogs run by Scott Harp

4th Jimmie Darnell- can't remember which dog.

Not sure about the Jams. I think Alex Washburn got RJ.

I'm only sure about the first two places. I'm sure someone will post all the correct placements/dogs soon.

I know Henry posted the Am results. I know that Doug Main Jammed the Am. after having a very unfortunate dogwalker enter the test as his dog was sent for the second bird.

Thanks to all the judges for a super job this weekend, especially to Tom Jacobs for graciously filling in at the last minute as one of the Open judges.

The entire panel of judges was as good as I have seen at any trial.

The weather only sucked on Friday morning!

Thanks also to Steve and Kate Miller, Steve Hamilton, Randy Anderson, the Bugusky's, Bruce Ahlers, and all the club members that help.

Congratulations to all that finished some very challenging series and thank you to all that entered.

Sorry for this late post, but how about Miss Nona and Schatzie (about to turn 10) winning the Open. For those of you who don't know her, Nona Bauer is an awsome writer of dog books, great amateur handler, and the most kind hearted person you will ever meet. Schatzie is the type of dog that we all (Pros and Amateurs) dream of spending time with. Great job girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
