Anyone have experience with Bumper Boy Bird Baskets? Thinking of adding a couple to my setups so I can throw birds and/or bumpers/superbirds.

Good?

Bad?

Ugly?

We have a few we use off and on with pigeons....we have had success launching live birds out of them....which was nice for flyer stations...and on spots where we did some walk up drills etc.

Problems can be....w/ live birds, occassionally active pigeons slip out, so you get a dry launch....

The baskets often hit the end of the string and breaking happened often....OR if the string isn't set up judiciously you get a short pop, and dive into the ground.

Can be useful but we found them problematic and more often use boxes when we need birds, and or arent' using wingers or manpower.

All the best
