Adding Derby Stakes to our November Trial

Due to popular demand, the Ouachita RC (will be Cajun Riviera after 12/31/07), is adding a Derby Stakes to begin on Friday, November 2nd. Trial is being held at the Lebeau Trial Grounds in Whiteville, La.

Open starts Nov2 8am
Derby starts Nov2 9am
Amateur starts Nov3 8am

The Derby will be on there as soon as the judges get approved by the AKC.

Why not start the Derby before the Open to get more of the pros run?

Good idea! Wish we would have thought of that prior to me submitting the request to the AKC. I'll toss the idea on the table the next time we decide to mix the minors in the the AA on the same weekend. 8)

Resubmit it. As long as no one has entered, you can apply to have it changed.

Change the EE site to show "pending." This will keep anyone from entering until you can get approval. This also shows the AKC that you were proactive in keeping anyone from being confused on start times.
