I need info on the above opinions for taping or taking pictures of my handling of dogs & others I train with.
Both from line and dogs out quite aways. I have seen some clips on the
sites here & they look quite professional.

We have been using a Sony MiniDV camcorder from Best Buy that was about $350 and have been pleased. Be sure you get one with image stabilization, though. Otherwise watching the play back can make you think you have a buzz.

Sony MiniDV. Check out B and H Photo on the web. You can buy a VERY nice camera for less than $400.
Just a suggestion. Set up your camera beyond your blind and have a training partner video your dog coming out. Its amazing. You see what the dog sees while you are handling. We did this for Dave Rorem at his spring seminar. He LOVED it for teaching handling mechanics.
