Does anyone use these?
I have a Motorola T5950 FRS (training) radio with a weather channel on it but it usually will not pick up anything.
Been doing Internet searches, but the units listed have so many options that I don't need.
I'm just looking for a basic hand held radio, powered by AAA batteries that picks up NOAA weather forecasts, predictions, and warnings.

Thanks in advance!

Richard,

I bought mine at Radio Shack

They now sell a more basic (and less expensive) model made by Midland that would probably be adequate
