I shot the flyer in last series of the open. Tough tight quad with rooster pheasants for the flyer. Only about 5 dogs did the quad without handling. Here is what I recall from placements....

1. Land Ahoy - Gary Z - Jerry P
2. Auggie - If you don't know this dog your living in isolation
3. ? - Jerry P
4. ?

I got the rest in the book but its out in the truck. I'll grab it when I do final wrap up in the kennel.

Derby. - First series was a fairly wide double, small running water on flyer pheasant go bird, lost about 5 of the 18.

EE shows 33 entries in open. Is that accurate?

The club did not use EE as their entry service so it is a NON EE event. EE has been gracious enough to let people enter NON EE trials through EE. The list you see on EE is not complete.

If the club used another electronic entry service (which I do believe is the cas for this event) you would see the full running order there. If they are a "manual" club the only way to see all the entries is with a catalog.

Hope that helped!

Paul,

Do you know how the derby went? Yes, I guess you would know. How did Trapper do? Also how did Rebel do?

1 was a scratch, one needed help. I believe the rest should be back. Trapper did pretty well. He pinned the flyer then sucked over to the pop and throw before doing a circle around the bird and picking it up. Real strong field of derby dogs. Should get real interesting in the morning...

No, there were 59 in Open, 50 in AM, 33 in Q and 18 in Derby. Don't know the scratches.

This club accepted entries from both EE and RFT, but the trial secretary was at RFT, so the EE entries actually closed 5 days before the RFT closing, so that the EE entries could get to RFT for the draw.

It must have been a PITB to do it this way - I bet they lost a few entries as a result.

You can view the draw at www.rftentry.com (http://www.rftentry.com)
