Strengthen your understanding of young retriever training skills. Whether you are just beginning to train your first dog or have been training for several years, this one day workshop will provide insight on how to build the solid foundation all dogs need to successfully move on at more advanced levels. Demonstrations will be done with several dogs of different ages.
Jack Vollstedt: Jack has had a passion for dogs, field trials and the sport for over 30 years. He is an accomplished field trial amateur competitor, training his own dogs from basics to top competition levels. His dogs run with enthusiasm and style and reflect the beauty and athleticism of the sport.
Fees: $20.00 - UVRC Members and $35.00 - Non-Members. Application and Fees must be paid by May 2nd.

This is a great seminar! He put it on for our club a couple of years ago. As one of the most successful amateurs in the history of the sport, he has some ideas on early training that contain differences from some of the mainstream approaches. He has influenced the way we train.
