What kind of MPG's are you toyota drivers getting. Looking at a new toyota 4wd. Turns out the 20-22 MPG the dodge cummins owners told me about turned out to be 16.5-17.5 for me.
Looking at 4 or 6 cylinder. What can you tell me

Tundra or Tacoma?
2008 Tundra is getting 14. MPG according to the computer. Does better on 100% Gas (15.5 MPG) but hard to get here in Tulsa. Most convenience stores here sell 10% Ethanol mix.
2007 Tacoma 4 Door Long Bed with 6 cyl was getting about 20-21 MPG before two hole Anliey. I would say we are getting 18 to 19 now.

I own a 2x4, 6 cyl, SR5 Tacoma Crew cab that gets 20 mpg/city and 23 mpg/hwy. I also have an Ainley 2-dog that stays in the truck. The 2x4 will get a little better gas mileage than the 4x4. It is the first 2x4 I've owned in 25 yrs. It drives like a little sports car, and powerful enough to pull my jon boat.

I own a 2008 Tundra with the V8 5.7L 4x4 Crewmax cab and this weekend taking the freeway for a weekend at the lakes on a 170mile drive I got roughly 18mpg and that's with no wind and about 73mph. Roughly 60 miles of that trek is at 60mph county roads. Depending on how heavy footed I am in town I'll get anywhere from 14 to 16mpg.
Absolutely love the truck though! Best truck ride and handling I've had to date.
