This is what my reporter told me about the Open:
Wide open triple. Birds thrown around the horn right to left, sorry did not get each birds direction.
Right hand bird is short retired less than 200 yards.
Middle bird is a long retired punch bird at 300-350 yards.
Left is the flier.
The middle bird seems to be the one giving the dogs the most problems due to the terrain changes (hills) and if they fall off the hill they can end up lost and out of sight.
Was told the majority of dogs were doing the test in some fashion - my contact had watched approximately 10 dogs and only 2 picked up.
They were in the 50's as far as running order goes - it is 2:30pm there.....so....my guess is they should get the first done tonight, but then again you never know.....it is a FT right?
Hate being on the sidelines regards,
