I just heard 29 dogs made it back to the third series to start tomorrow morning. Number 4 is the one I'm watching and he is back.

It must be hard for people w/ multiple stakes to run their dogs. Still waiting for any updates from the derby.

Going in to the open 4th Series

2, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 25, 33, 40, 45, 49, 70, 76, 79

Water quad two retired gunners. Wind 20 mph hard left to right.

1st bird (retired) hard to the right maybe 250 yards. Big open prairie behind it.

2nd bird (retired) middle left indented thrown 30 yards right and short of the flyier.

3rd bird long middle right, very tight to the line of the second bird.

4th bird flyer pretty long on the far left side.

Most dogs nailed the flyer.

Then came back and wanted the long number 3 bird way up the hill. About 1/3 of the dogs nailed it. Another 1/3 hunted the back side of it pretty hard some needing to handle, another 1/3 caught scent of the indented bird and got sucked into it.

There were a few good jobs on the far right retired bird but saw a lot of big hunts deep or behind the gunner.

The left middle indented retired gunner was generally picked up last or next to last. About 1/3 did a good job, about 1/3 had big hunts deep and a third handled.

The 2 best jobs on this series were turned in by #17 Barton Creek's O Mustad & #70 Bam. Good jobs were turned in by #45, #8 (after 2 no birds), #2.
