If you bought his pledge for change, in Jan. 08 he pledged to not have to not have the same Washington insiders. Instead of the promised change new appointments of about 40 are 75 % the Clinton era.

I hope you didn't vote for BO based on that thought. There are only so many individuals capable of, & with the stature, to get his administration off the ground. Remember BO is not a person with a wealth of successful experience to draw upon. The only agenda where he was in charge which included ample funding, besides the successful run for POTUS, was a failure.

I've heard a lot of weak excuses why individuals voted the way they did, this one while not falling into that category shows a certain naivete about the system.

Of all the appointments made to date, it is hard to find fault with any other than the AG, though we may find over time some are just not up to the task. Eric Holder was the prime mover, so rumor has it, in the Marc Rich pardon. Not a good start for the office that is supposed to be above reproach.
