Which one is the better buy?

Which one do you use and why?

Do they work well enough in training to rec. to someone?

I train a lot by myself. Just looking for input here.

Thanks gang!

Ok I'll bite. I think your referring to the Thunder 500 lauchers that have replaced the old Max 5000.

I prefer the Thunder launchers. They are easier to set up, replace bumpers in and seem to be more reliable and "idiot proof" than the Bumper Boys. They are also more cost effective to operate not having to use .22 caliber ammunition.

Right now we use two of the newer model Thunder launchers and one of the older Thunder 400 models. All have been very reliable. The older Thunder 400 has been in use for 200 days per year for the past 2 years with no break downs.

None of the lauchers are much good for long marks as the bumper is in mid flight before the sound travels back to the line.

I've used both the Bumper Boys and Thunder launchers and feel the best choice for reliability and ease of set up and use is the Thunder. Customer service is excellent as well.

Hope this helps..................................
