Southern Minnesota Hunting Retriever Association will be conducting a winter informal the Saturday of February 21.

The location will be McConico's Old Oak Kennels between Ellendale and Blooming Prairie right off of I-35. He has a wonderful grounds and should be an excellent place for an informal.

Sign-up time will be 8 am and we will begin to run at 9 am. Cost will be 10 dollars per stake or [U]FREE[U]with a paid membership.

Junior, Senior, and Master stakes will be offered. Rules based primarily on AKC hunt tests, but may also include aspects of NAHRA hunt tests. Judges hold final decisions.

We will be using dead birds and everyone should bring their training equipment. Any questions email me at s_c_greenwood@yahoo.com and I will call you or email.

Don't forget about Saturday. Should be a good setup and the weather looks good. If you have a young dog and want to see what its got it would be a good opportunity to get some exposure. We will be serving coffee and donuts/muffins for breakfast. Come out and enjoy!!!
