"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." --Thomas Jefferson

When I read quotes like that it makes me realize I am an american and anyone who doesn't agree with the quotes of our founding fathers is un-american. But because the constitution is such a great document it allows even the people who hate what this country is founded on ,to be able to sit in the seats of it government,,

I would think that a country who has given freedom and liberty to all should be represented by people who believe in freedom and liberty for its citizens.

Thanks for remindinding me.

All who want to change that should go somewhere else. Or be imprisoned. Thanks for solidifying that for me

Pete, I really liked your analogy on the Brit dog thread.

But imprsioning people who don't agree with the same set of goals....
How far off do one have to be before they tossed in the pokey?

I think if you really read his entire staement he is saying that it is OK for them to disagree, however, HIS OPINION is that they should be locked up or sent away. He is entitled to that because of the great counrty we live in. I don't think he is truely calling for a movement to do that....

OOOps
I must clarify what I meant.

I beleive that everyone in this country has the right to believe and live according to our constitution. Including far left liberals. What I have great opposition to is someone of the socialistic, marxist views who get in office and require me to live by their beliefs. I would rather be dead or imprisoned to have to conform to some social and idiological pervert.

The problem with far left idiology is they cannot sustain their beliefs on their own. They require something to leach off of to exist.
My conservative views only require myself to live a peacable life so therefore it is imposable for me to impose my beliefs on someone else.

I didn't mean to say that liberal thinking should be cast out or imprisoned,,,I meant to say that kind of thinking and then forced on those who dispise it,,,those people who do it should either be imprisoned or euthonized or shipped out.

This really isn't a true democracy but a republic,,,,,
majority shouldn,t rule because when it does we are finished as a nation.
The Republic for which it stands One nation under God

Thats really what I meant. I have no problems with the euthinizing of traitors.
