This latest proposal that the people that payoff credit cards are to be charged to help others in debt. It's bad enough we have to bailout the homeowners defalting.

They are doing the same to the banks that were not stupid enough to buy into the sub-prime lending. They are paying penalties for the other irresponsible geniuses.

Where have y'all been? Haven't you heard that money(wealth) will be redistributed?

These poor folks can't pay those higher interest rates just because of that little technicallity of defaulting on their credit card agreement!

How would these people manage to live without a flat screen HD TV, designer sneakers and Iphones?

Y'all quit being so selfish!

I'm paying off my two credit cards and then taking Dave Ramsey's advice and cutting them up. I refuse to play Obomo's game!

If I need a credit card, I'll just use my Debit Card.

The banks have already started doing that ... by their little loophole about "change of terms".

If the bankers would use their empty heads, they would take the borrowers have problems & negotiate realistic interest rates for them ... the huge penalties & 29% interest rates for late payments will not get the banks the money owed ... it will only make those people simply "throw in the towel".

What was that campaign promise about decreasing taxes for most of the people in the middle class? Seems that "redistribution" is what we should have been watching out for.

I wonder what the libs are going to do when the rest of us refuse to be part of THEIR process?

Good clip, Richard. "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore".

It has been for a long time since I watched that movie.

It evolved, however, and here is another clip;

Indeed, we should all release our own inner Howard Beale, but as is so frequently spoken here, we may not get what we want, but what we deserve.

PJ, it may not only be THEIR process, it may just be OUR process.
