Hunt Test Setups with participants' dogs
to put your HT Seminar Knowledge to Practice


8:00-Noon - HT Setups
Noon-1:00 Lunch
1:00-4:00 - HT Setups


Participants will take turns setting up HT scenarios,
running their dogs on these scenarios,
judging the dogs' performances,
and then discussing the scoring


You may attend either or both days.
If you want to be HT Judge Qualified,
you must attend Saturday.
If you are already qualified,
just come out Sunday and
brush up on your judging skills.

Have talked to several people to say they want to come, but don't know if they've sent in their registrations to Sue yet.

Hope we have a good turnout so we can start building the pool of available HT judges in this area.

Our club - Missouri River Retriever Club - will give first preference for Apprentice Judge positions at our 2010 spring Hunt Test - and future hunt tests - to anyone who attends this seminar.

Dear HT Participants ~

We need to get a head count in to AKC
by *** TODAY *** Wednesday, July 15,
for the Saturday part of the event so that they can send us enough training materials for everybody attending the classroom seminar part,
plus a few extra for late registrations.

Right now your money isn't as important as our head count !!
So if you are planning on attending the Saturday seminar
please let Sue Lister know ASAP either at

636-338-4531 or lister@centurytel.net

Even if you are still "thinking" about attending on Saturday,
let Sue know anyway.

Also remember that registration fees increase
** TOMORROW ** on July 16,
so if you contact Sue ** TODAY ** you will save some money.

Sunday's program will not be as as formal nor last as long as originally noted due to our AKC rep's time constraints.
There will be setups to show how a piece or land or water can be used for the various test levels - followed by dog work evaluations.

Because the Sunday session will be shorter than originally planned,
the cost will only be $10.00
to cover the cost of ducks and equipment use.
We will NOT be serving lunch, so bring your own food and drinks.
There will be some bottled water on hand.

Remember, you only have to attend Saturday
to fulfill the AKC requirement for seminar attendance.
The Sunday event is our way of helping put your classroom learning into practice out in the field.
You can attend either day or both days.

I just heard from Sue that we only have 10 registrations for this event - and I know some of you have just been waiting until the last minute.
Well - THE LAST MINUTE IS HERE !!!!
Remember that if you want to ever be a HT judge
you must attend one of these AKC seminars -
and if you are already an approved HT judge
you might need this as a required refresher course.

Don't let this opportunity to attend a seminar this close to you slip by.
