!!!!!! NOW OPEN FOR ENTRIES !!!!!!

On Saturday morning, August 15, 2009 the GMHTA will hold it's 3rd Annual Minnesota Master at the beautiful Kelley Farms north field. Your co-chairs for this event, Travis Lund and myself, Chuck Stokes are expecting a big turnout this year. We have heard about so many strong running dogs this summer and this will be the event to show everyone how good the dogs have become. Because we feel a strong field is ready to run, entries will be limited to 30. Multiply entries are OK, but as always, the dogs must be owned/co-owned by the handler and the handler must be a member of a GMHTA club.

We have 3 judges representing a diverse background in the various live bird dog games that will bring a fun mix to the tests.

Ed Thibodeaux brings years of professional training experience as well as having run and qualified dogs in both the Master National and the HRC Grand.

Ralph Dooley brings years of Field Trial running and judging experience with 8 + championship point and 8 + minor stakes points.

Gordie Schlicting has run NAHRA and AKC Ht's for years and is an accomplished Master judge.

As you know, this event is to find a winner using elements of all of the live bird venues and follows guidelines we are all familiar with, Top Dog taking home the Gordon Schlicting Memorial Trophy.
More information can be found at our Mn Master link with new info daily. http://www.fourpointsrc.org/MN_Master.html (http://www.fourpointsrc.org/MN_Master.html)
