Ok-only a minor stake, but...

Scratches: 2,4,22,27

32 starters.

First series was an inline triple w/ an honor.

Callbacks to the 2nd series-double land blind-20 starters:

1,3,5,6,9,10,16,18,19,20,21,24,25,26,28,29,30,32,3 6

Callbacks to the water blind-15 starters:

1,3,5,6,10,16,18,19,20,21,24,25,28,30,32

Does anyone have callbacks to the 4th and placements? Thanks!

Was a lot of fun. Great judges!!

Good luck, Miriam and Finn, #18!

Thanks Steve, but that ship has sailed! :-) We had a good beginning & middle of the water blind, but I lost him at the bitter end. It was a "big" blind for us and I'm not unhappy with him at all. We had a great time and it's all going to come together!

Lots of nice Goldens running & I'm anxious to see the placements!

Miriam, was there a retired gun on the in line triple? The question come from a discussion my training pard and I had this morning.

Sounds like Finn is doing great! I'm happy for you both.

All three guns were sitting out. However, the terrain/very heavy cover/stone wall made for a very challanging series.

Line was off top of a knoll. Steep decent off ..and dog was not able to see middle and long guns on their line out. Flyer was the go bird..good thick grass etc growth, so many had to dig bird out. Unmowed fields..mostly due to such wet fields this year.

Double land blind was very well set up...terrain/flyer field/middle bird helped make it very challanging.

Left after watching some of the water blind..stopped for a sandwich at the corner of W.Thompson Road..it got very, very dark and rained the worst of the day. Had hoped Dean's was spared :(

Anyone describe the 4th? ...Paula?, Pat?
