The article mentions that "Atlas Shrugged" is selling like hotcakes.

So far this year I have read "We the Living" about the Russian revolution & it's results & "Fountainhead" with "Atlas Shrugged" on order. There are also a couple of other books that she has written that are not as famous.

As the article says Greenspan is no Rand disciple, if he ever was.

We the Living is a classic lesson in how to lose your freedoms & the ensuing corruption that it enables. "Think $50 Mil bonuses at FNM."

The article offers commentary from other philosophers that Rand is not considered a "heavyweight" among philosophers. OTOH, I cannot recall that other philosophers have been as successful in presenting their case in such a popular fictional manner. Could there be some envy there?
