Thinking about a doggie door and wanting your comments/feedback.
This would be in a combination storm/screen door leading from a "sun porch" to the outdoors.
I'm aware of most of the considerations regarding sizing, placement, security. etc. Looking for recommendations on brands, type/style, etc.
I want something trouble free and durable (Iowa summers and winters :D) but I'm not building a castle here ... I've seen some pretty pricey ones that I'm not interested in.
Am I better off looking for a separate doggie door unit and installing it myself or is anyone aware of a storm door with a good quality, factory installed?
Anything in particular that I should steer away from?
