We had the pleasure of running in the Derby today which was judged by Dr. Nick Elam Jr. and Jay Hinton. We were able to run 5 marks and messed up the 6th mark and was not called back to the 4th set-up.

I would like to comment on some of the best set-ups I have seen in a Derby. They were not really long, cheaty or super tight. They were marks that you would run in your everyday training with good bird placement.

The dogs that marked and ran good lines really looked great but the dogs that did not ended up with medium or long hunts.

Thank you judges for a great derby and to all the other contenders good luck in the 4th series.

Likewise I would like to give Keith Farmer of Tremblin Earth Kennels a sincere THANK YOU for the time and effort that he has put into bringing out the ability in a fine young dog named Tremblin Earth's Rolling Stone (Mick)
