Just received the following from Jean Wu:

heres the callbacks to the 2nd series in the Open here in Niland. There were 4 scratches out of the 60 dogs: 21, 23, 35, 43. Rotation: 17- 47- 32- 59

22 dogs back to the 2nd:
#s 2, 3, 5, 9, 14, 17, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 32, 33, 34, 36, 38, 39, 45, 46, 47, 48, 53


the 1st series turned out to be a very tough quad with very good bird placement: inverted triple (left long retired first, thrown along the channel bank; middle short retired 2nd, thrown along the channel bank to the right; right long flyer 3rd atop a mound shot into the test to the left) and go bird out gun to the far right. All birds thrown right to left, except the middle short retired. The left retired and middle retired guns are very tight, and when they retire, the desert all looks the same!! Hidden water is enroute to all 4 birds. None of the water is visible from the line, even to the handler. Honor is to the left atop the mound with the running dog on the right side.

Dog 4 was also a scratch.

1st sounded tough.
