Hey everyone,

I know there has been a lot of posts and someone is always looking for information on launchers so I'm just sharing what I found out there with some thoughts underneath them.

Gunner's Up:
http://www.gunnersup.com/Retriever-Training-Launchers-s/1.htm
Notes: Fires singles using heavy duty latex tubing, not restricted to a specific bumper, capable of firing .209 primers. Can use Dogtra or Tritronics release system, some models can be used manually.

Zinger Wingers
http://www.zingerwinger.com/xcart/home.php?cat=265
Notes: Fires singles using rubber tubing, not restricted to a specific bumper, capable of firing .209 primers with some models being able to do .22 blanks and .32 blanks. Can use Dogtra or Tritronics release system, some models can be used manually.

Thunder Equipment Launchers
http://www.thunderequipment.com/training/foundationtraining.php
Fires 5 or 10 specialized bumpers depending on the model using MAPP gas. Cheapest multi launcher on the market (that I've seen). Testimonials report that the report of the MAPP gas closely represents a shotgun. Restricted to using specialized bumpers. Can be used with Dogtra or Tritronics release system. Claims there is no maintenance needed.

Bumper Boy Launchers
http://www.bumperboy.com/index.php
Has multiple models that can fire a set number of specialized bumpers (number depends on model). Uses .22 blanks to propel bumpers. Has option of firing doubles from one station. Comes with bumper boys specific sound and remote with option to purchase "advanced sound". Additional units can be bought and operated from same remote (saving you cost from buying complete electronics).

I have tried to be impartial in writting this up to help other people in their search.

Misc Notes:
Gunner's Up & Winger's are bulkier but offer throwing anything you want the dog to pick up (dokkens, ducks, live birds, etc.)

Thunder Equipment replaced Etch Marc systems that some people have said were not so good but since been updated. Cheapest multi thrower to operate (600-800 marks of 1 MAPP gas container). Limited to throwing singles in the same line (distance can be changed, but direction is set).

Bumper Boys are the most common thing I have seen used here where I'm at. Pluses if help is needed trouble shooting for me. Can throw doubles, and diffrent directions.

Again I'm not paid by anyone nor trying to steer someone in one direction, I hope this info helps people in the market. If you have something to add, or pics / videos put'em up to help the rest of us green guys out there.

Semper Fidelis,

Aaron
