Yup, it's all over the news sites including Pelosi's slam at Obama.

What Obama meant to say was that we will have transparicy unless we have to do some under the table arm twisting, bribing and threatning.

The man has been dishonest with the Amaerican people since he stepped onto the national spotlight. We all know he is a say anything to get elected politician with no experince on the world stage.

Just look at the jokers he surrounds himself with and has appointed to key post!

The question is; As a nation, can we survive four years of Obama?

Wow! I must say this caught me completely by surprise ...I mean who would have thunk it? A Chicago politician telling a lie ....why that's unheard of.

Its going to get worse, too. The writing is starting to form on the walls that he will be a one-termer, unless some glorious miracle that benefits all of us occurs in the next couple of years. Get ready, I'm sure we'll be told what wonderful things are happening to us shortly.

Sometimes I wonder where we'd be if McCain had won. In reality, probably not much different, as we would still have the same pharmaceutical and insurance companies, and it seems they're the ones writing policy these days.

The economy will eventually come back on it's own. The messiah will claim credit for that and victory will be his. Regardless, I think he will be difficult to beat due to the 'get out the vote' movements that will be in full swing in some of the more 'urban' eras. Perhaps the novelty will have worn off and nobody will give a damn about his color in 2012. We can only hope.

I think thats a right-on assessment, except I don't think his color had much to do with his winning. That horse has been beaten already on this forum, we'll just have to see. I agree, that his re-election, if possible, will depend on an economic rebound, which he has little control over. No doubt he will try and massage it for all he can to look good in 2011.

I thought Bill Clinton was the 1st Black president.

I am betting unimployment will not change much in the next year or so. In the jobs created or saved catagory it sounds like the jobs lost compaired to last years is only 75%. I am thinking we will be looking at inflation in less than a year. I bet gas goes up again. I am still waiting for the commercial real estate crash which will make the home crash a popcorn fart. In my industry only now are business's starting to fail. But on a bright note I read that the gooberment is going to be employing more people than the private sector. We all know how well that goes. DNF said it correct when he said what the government does to us. To being the key word. One last thing I just got info that we will have another EPA gift to comply by that starts on 2011.

I'm not as confident as you are about the economy.

We have yet to deal with super-inflation that will be a result of printing and borrowing money that we shouldn't be.

Wasteful spending is still out-of-control.

The Senate's version of Health Care (most likely to pass) will place a financial burden on taxpayers.

Cap and Trade will make consumer energy cost skyrocket.

Obama's version of socialism penalizes productivity and rewards those dependent on entitlements.

We need leadership on the Fedreal level that is willing to tell the truth and find solutions that don't include spending trillions of borrowed and freshly printed money!

It amazes me how both sides point fingers, Dem's and Reps both accusing the other of having lied to the American people while turning a blind eye to the lies their people tell. You have Republican politicians looking for sex in airport bathrooms and texting KIDS with sexual advances. You have Democratic Presidents having sex with woman in the Oval office. Republican Presidents starting wars in countries for reasons other than what they tell us. Democratic Presidents going back on their word to end it. People sitting up at night wondering how they are going to keep their homes while the "Elite" try to justify million dollar bonuses. Mothers imploding with grief only they can suffer because their Son or Daughter was killed defending our freedom?..If you honestly believe we are over there defending "freedom" you need to take a long walk to clear your head. Our Government spoon feeds us shit to digest and smiles while they wipe the sides of our mouths, and don't kid yourself, both party members have a spoon in their breast pockets. I love my Country its my Government I don't trust.

Now I understand how people work, everything is good until you leave the, but McClellan was in the "inner circle", He was one of your guys, you defended the crap that spewed out of his mouth when he was addressing the press, and now that he has turned against Georgie I am sure you will condemn everything he says. But if the table was turned you would be passionate advocates of his authenticity. You know as well as I do, if Georgie himself where to tell you he went to war for different reasons, your heads would start to spark and smoke trying to find away to stay true to your party. Its weird how every time I get into the Dem/Rep discussions for or against, with die hard party followers, afterward I feel like I was in the movie Stepford Wives. Oh well, thats what makes this a great great nation, everyone is welcome to debate their definitions of what reality is.

Where in that sentence am I telling people to stay true to their parties?. Being as good as you are at taking a portion of a statement and spining it to suit your beliefs, you should work for Fox news.

P.S. In the future, when you plan to quote someone, include the whole sentence.;)

You misunderstood what I said. That quote is an example (statement) of a HUGE problem in politics in America. The rest of your post is full of finger pointing and pointless trashing of the party that you do not choose to claim. For the record, I don't claim it either. Your response is even further proof of your bias. Your inability to read and comprehend, then take that comment for what it actually means rather than get your panties in a wad makes you more than qualified to work for any left wing media source.

As far as the media goes, The only reason I like Olbermann more than O'Rielly is he knows more about Pro Football. I watch both left and right wing media sources, because if you flip back and forth watching them try to out lie the other, it can be very entertaining. Its human nature, If I was to offer you a 3 year, 30 million dollar contract, you would be on TV screaming Ole Georgie wears garters and had an affair with Cheney.
