This year there will be 3 grounds used for the Lassen Retriever Club trial to be held on Feb 12-13-14 near Anderson, CA, off I-5. The 3rd location is new and has never been used by the club. Changes have been made to the Lassen premium which is up on Entry Express. Go check it out.

OPEN - starts Friday at 9:00 a.m. at 80 Acres and will be held all 3 days at 80 Acres.
DERBY - starts Friday at 8:00 a.m. at the new location - 5716 Balls Ferry Road
AMATEUR - starts Sat. at 8:00 a.m. at the new location - 5716 Balls Ferry Road
QUALIFYING - starts Sat. following the Derby (but no sooner than 8:00 a.m. Sat.) The location for the Qual is Golden Glen Kennels.

The new grounds at 5716 Balls Ferry Road is not far from 80 Acres. The club will place a sign on Balls Ferry Road at the entrance road that leads into the property. Balls Ferry Road is shown on the map on the premium.

Hope you like the new grounds we are trying out.

Starting Feb. 5-6-7 there are 4 trials in a row not far from each other in No. Calif. The San Jose trial is at Red Bluff Feb 5-7; the next weekend is Lassen about 15 miles north of Red Bluff on Feb. 12-14; then Sagehens at the Gray Lodge Wildlife Area near Gridley on Feb 19-21; and then the last trial is Sacramento Valley Feb 26-28 at Grizzly Island.

As Josh Conrad said about the San Jose club's trial ... enter now and enter often!

Do you have to be a member of a club to attend and watch one of these events?

No, you do not have to be a member of any club to attend these events. It's free to attend and watch all day long. Great way to become familiar with field trials if you haven't been to any or many of them.
