MN Winter Informals Watopa Retr Club

The Watopa Retriever Club will host winter informals at its grounds south of Kellogg, MN. If you plan to run a dog at an informal, you should plan to throw birds and WORK. Informals do not have hired workers and it takes everyone's help to make an enjoyable day.

Always bring your training equipment. If there aren't enough dogs to hold the informal, there may be a training day.

If weather is bad and you question if the informal will be held, contact Jim Rickoff at 507-457-8975. Information regarding cancellation may also be posted on this website.

Signup is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on the day of the informal at the Kellogg Cafe on main street in Kellogg, MN. The cafe has GREAT food, so plan to eat breakfast before the informal.

Directions to grounds: Watopa Retriever Club grounds are located two miles north of Weaver, MN (south of Kellogg, MN) off US Hwy 61 on Wabasha Cty Rd 84.
