Anyone use the flyer pouch for the GU wingers? Just curious well it works if the bird is in the pouch for any length of time or if it needs to be fired immediately after loading...

I don't know if anyone ever answered this or not, but my (little) experience is that you don't want the bird in the pouch too long because it can make them rather stiff (so I'm told). Usually you want to load the pouch right before throwing the bird, that said the pouch works better if you have a velcro strap model to help hold the bird, I have also used sticks, ruler's, my hand to hold the bird steady until its called for.

The pouch works well if you make sure the velcro straps are tight over the bird.
I always try to load the bird last, then return to the line and start my test.
It helps to "dizzy" the bird if you know you are going to take some time before shooting the bird. Otherwise, a strong bird may be able to get out.

I have one and like it, took me a few tries to figure how the best way to load the bird so it is well secured but still releases easily.
