I am leasing a property in Kansas this year for deer hunting. I live in Minnesota. My question is... whats the best option for a trailcam that will send pics from Kansas to Minnesota so I can view them at home on my computer?
I need something that will have a long battery life ,and will take and send good pics.

Thanks, Chuck

I have the Moultrie 5.0. Here's the link

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?id=0057452418461a&navCount=2&podId=0057452&parentId=cat20098&masterpathid=&navAction=jump&cmCat=MainCatcat20712-cat601139-cat20098&catalogCode=UK&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20098&hasJS=true

It works pretty good. The pictures aren't the best and the camera isn't the easiest to use but it works. For some reason it switches to black and whites a lot. But here is a color pic it took. This is one of the better pictures.

I haven't tried any products like you are talking about, just standard trail cameras, but there is a website that sells what you are looking for watchthedeer.com. Don't know what they cost either, pricey, I imagine. They say they have solar power, which would solve your battery problem.
