For all the Golden people on RTF, I just saw where Jerry posted on FB that Red Desert Rainy won the Qual. Way to go, Rainy, Jerry and Gale. Gotta love that Golden Power! Keep it going!

Just got a call from hubby with some results that is "family" news.
AMATEUR
2nd place - AFC Tealcreek Patton's Saber - Chris Hatch, who is breeder-owner amateur trainer-handler.
RJ - Flyway's Ruby B. Gonia - Don Graves, who is owner amateur trainer-handler. We bred Ruby to Chris Hatch's AFC Saber to get our Long Tall Sally. Sally has 11 Derby points. Other puppies in our Saber-Ruby litter (Moxie, Shooter, and now Bobby) also have Derby points. This litter won't age out until Sept 2 so they have more trials to run.
************************************************** ****
DERBY
1st place - Tealcreek's Easy Riser - Chris Hatch, breeder-owner amateur trainer-handler. Riser and Saber have the same dam who is Chris' bitch FC/AFC Hightest Black Ty Affair. Chris amateur trained and handled Ty to both titles. Ty is now 10 years old and retired from trialing.
3rd place - Buck N Bobby - owner amateur trainer-handler Gary Ahlgren. Yippee. Don and I are Bobby's proud breeders.
JAM - Flyway's Long Tall Sally - Don Graves who is breeder-owner amateur trainer-handler.
Sally did not run her best in this trial. No extra cookies for you, Sally.
Chris Hatch and Don Graves are training partners. We admire Chris a lot for his accomplishments as an amateur trainer and handler. Chris is not retired. He's an insurance agent working full time. He takes an occasional week day off to train; otherwise, he trains after work by himself and on weekends when he can with Don and other members of our training group.
Congratulations, Chris, on Saber's 2nd in the Amateur and Riser's 1st in the Derby.
Congratulations, Gary, on Bobby's 3rd in the Derby. Couldn't be prouder.

always good to see a training partner do well , it makes for a more fun trip on the road home...it also shows that whatever the group is working on is showing dividends for more than one person in the group...makes for more intense training group sessions too
Team Graves sets the bar very high...no extra cookies :(

Not to mention that Don and Chris are both class acts. From my perspective, both are some of the true gentlemen in the game. Congrats to the team.

Congrats to all the winners.
Since this was not an Entry Express trial, can someone in the know post a complete list of placements and JAM's so that the rest of us will know how the whole trial played out? Thanks.
