Bet ya a RC and a Moonpie it won't happen!
1) Romney is too smart
2) Romney is far enough to the right to capture the only crowd that would go for Palin anyway. He'd lose too much of the center-right/center and even some of the old Reagan dems who might consider him, if he runs with CaribouBarbie.
3) I may have to eat my hat one day, but I predict Sarah's political future will be limited to being a commentator on Fox and stoking the far right at rallies....much of what she's doing now. I don't think she can be a serious national level candidate anymore.

Regardless of whether or not Palin would do a good job, her name has been damaged waaay too much to be a big player in politics.

No, I agree with you. He's not FAR right, but right enough that he doesn't need Palin to capture that crowd. What little he would gain with her, he'd lose much more on the centrist side. Romney's as far right as most desire, and not so far, that many independents and some of the Reagan-dems might go for him.

You're right, he does NOT have a lock on them, and Mitt has a very good chance of wooing them away. But not with Sarah! You don't think he has more centrists to LOSE, than he has wing-nuts to GAIN if he chooses Sarah? Think about it. The wing nuts won't have anyone else to vote for. The centrists surely will. Maybe more than one choice. There's lots of folks who will run the other way if she's on the ticket. Why do you think so many dems want her to run?

#1---I don't think the FACTS support Tea Party people being "wing nuts."
You know, like Wright, Ayers et al.

#2--The Dems (progressives) are scared of her, can not win the debate, so they attack on a personal level.

You guys joyously proclaimed that Bush did not have the intellectual heft to become President, how many terms did he serve again?
You guys are still whining about it!!

DO NOT mis-UNDERESTIMATE this woman.:D

I love it when a true phoney like you has painted me into your broad camp of "wing-nuts". Is that the same as conservatives? Just want to be sure what passes for Pennsylvania Dr. speak.

No its not the same as conservatives.
And its not worth my time or bandwidth to explain.
You have your narrow view of the world, and the blinders are firmly affixed.
Have a nice day.

and BTW, nowhere in my post that generated this comment did I liken all tea-baggers as being wing-nuts. Many are, but not all.
