OK, found the Daily Show link so you guys don't have to see your least favorite guy.

Pretty quiet. I guess conservatives don't appreciate this type of humor. I think it's hilarious.

I saw that on that "least favorite show", when I got home from work. Thanks for posting the link. It was worth watching again. :D

Hey guys...here's a 'righty' saying that it's pretty funny! Amazing, huh?:p

Interestingly enough, that clip is more Glenn Beck than I have watched in the rest of my life combined!

And don't forget this little gem...

LMAO...all the Potus Place libs tripping over themselves to profess the supposed hilarity of a self-confessed socialist's political commentary. Too bad Karl Marx isn't still alive...you gals would have really loved his zany sense of humor nearly as much as his politics.

You can attack the messenger all you want. Black has Beck nailed with this one. The material writes itself.

Ok, so Hew does not find the bit funny. Anyone else?

Hard not to laugh at stooopidity, no matter which political party they promote.

Both parties have been a disaster! Cry or laugh, same emotion.;-)

Does the material edit itself, too, or do you think your favorite socialist comic might have taken some liberties here and there? If it's on the Daily Show it must be the truth, eh?

What part of the script do you dispute as not being true? The actual footage of Beck's quotes?

You're probably right. No self-respecting, socialist satirist/comic would dare to take a clip or quote out of context and use it for entertainment purposes. Only respectable journalists do that kind of stuff.

There are a jillion examples of supposedly legitimate journalists who have been cold-busted lying and/or manipulating the facts to suit their agenda...from 60 Minutes/Dan Rather with their "fake but true" forged documents, to the AP running altered photographs of Beirut air strikes, to New York Times reporters inventing stories from their desks to the damn-near-criminal reporting of the Jenin "Massacre" and everything in between. Those are examples of what "real" journalists will do to get somebody to read their story or to push their agenda. It's not hard to imagine what liberties with facts/context a show dedicated to comedy would take.

.

Thankyou for the tour of unscrupulous journalism, but in all that discussion, you avoided answering the question regarding a comedian's cutting exposure of Mr. Beck's Nazi-tourettes affliction!

I ask again, what part of Mr. Black's satire did you find untrue, doctored, or taken out of context?

We can start a thread on Dan Rather, Beiruit, or the price of rice in China, but I'm curious to hear about Mr. Beck and his bizarre fetish with Naziism.

It is funny. I'm just not sure that "cut-n-paste" comedy means you have discredited anyone.

Whether or not you like Beck this is just a comedy skit.

Comedy skit or political satire, it exposed Mr. Beck's comments regarding Naziism. They were not taken out of context, the context was perfectly clear. It clearly exposed his comments, whether or not it discredited him is in the mind of the viewer.

When the goin' gets tough, go obtuse, eh? If I can't prove it, it must not exist. Deep thinkin', that.

Here's some other logic that makes as much sense:

Since you're an unabashed Obama pimp,
and since Lewis Black is an unabashed Obama pimp,
and since there are countless examples of you spewing innacurate hogwash,
then Lewis Black must also spew innacurate hogwash.

I went back and watched it again.

Now just so I understand because Beck said that Arizona wasn't like Nazi Germany and at other times he compared what is going on in our country to Nazi Germany that exposes him how???

Protecting yourself against ILLEGALS is bad why???

Perhaps you can tell me what the context of the Nazi symbolism Beck was using at 1:20 into Buzz's video? You know, the part where Beck's lips were moving but his voice was removed and Lewis Black was ranting. Since you're vouching for Black's veracity and all, your lip reading skills and trap-like memory of every Glenn Beck episode must be pretty good to claim there's context where none exists.

Now compare the claim at 3:55 in Buzz's video that Beck supposedly equates the PeaceCorps to Nazis. A real laugh riot until you see the actual context: http://mediamatters.org/mmtv/200908270036 If you watch it you'll see that a) it was his guest who made the comparison, 2) that Beck expressed incredulity to the comparison twice, and 3) the comparison wasn't to the "F**king PeaceCorps!" but to a civilian national security force. But hey, you feel free to keep pimpin' the credibility of a socialist comic with creative editiing skills. I'm not surprised.

I forgot what "obtuse" meant until I read the rest of your post!
How many times did you have to repeat your logic courses before they finally gave up and passed you on? :D

You'll have to ask someone who believes that. I doubt you'll find anyone on POTUS who does.
