First Aid for Hunting Dogs

Coyote Valley Sporting Clays, Morgan Hill
In partnership with the Pacific Coast Hunter Education Association, we are sponsoring a one day, Canine Field First Aid for Hunting Dogs. The seminar is open to hunters and non-hunters alike, and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Guest speaker will be Dr. Juliana Meadows from UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Meadows will discuss first aid for your hunting dog and companion. Topics will include bandaging techniques, cuts and lacerations, broken bones, diarrhea, insect bites and allergies, heat and cold exhaustion, plus what are the basics items you should have in a canine first aid kit.
Space is limited to 50 people so please register early. Cost: $45. BBQ lunch available for $10. 16 years and younger are free but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
