Last weeks jobless claims increased by 37,000 putting 464,000 Americans out of work. This is the widest one week loss since February 2010. Just think where the numbers would be if the BP hiring had not taken place. Looks as if the Messiah's stimulus plan still isn't working. Where are all these new jobs he's promised?

those 37,000 jobless claims were waiting for the unemployment benefits to be extended so they can start receiving checks again

Thise numbers do not reflect the 90,000 jobs that will be lost with what the Federal Judge called his Arbitrary & Capricious moratorium!

High unemployment and rising energy cost will do his administration in.

Barely a day goes by that more bad news about the Obongo administration does not surface. Obongo is a disgrace.

While I do not like President Obama....it doesnt show how he is a disgrace, rather it shows how THIS SYSTEM of government does NOT WORK for our NATION. It never has (and yes, it has been tried) and it NEVER WILL!!!!

I think we need a libertarian government.

Is there a Libertarian Utopian government out there that we can model ourselves after?

If you include May and June revisions we lost 228,000 jobs as reported this morning but let's add another 100,000 gulf coast jobs lost due to Obama's moratorium on oil and gas drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. So the $1,000,000,000,000 in stimulus that Barack borrowed and spent while promising it would bring back American jobs has just been pissed away with nothing to show for it.

Remember that Barack's ultimate goal is to debauch the currency and overturn society. He's pretty excited right now because with U6 unemployment at 17% he's well on his way. And screw all you keynesians and Krugmanites with your voodoo witchcraft. You're nothing but a bunch of arsonists and sodomists.

The bottom line is that we'll survive as a free country as long as we can find somebody stupid enough to loan us money. But if we see just one or three or five failed auctions then you better make sure you pantry is stocked and your ammo locker is full because we'll be screwed. Maybe we can move to Spain with Mrs. Barack.

We live in Cuba now.

A trillion in stimulus dollars spent? Do you have a link for that?

I was under the impression that the stimulus was closer to $800 billion, and roughly half of that was not spending but tax breaks. I have heard from some top republicans recently that you don't have to pay for tax breaks.

I am just glad that we have all those Bush tax cuts still in place. They clearly have kept the economy rolling along now that their full effects are being felt, and they helped with the deficit, and have maintained full employment ........

I know! I mean what would we have done with out those stimulus plans too. I just hate keeping my hard earned money. ;-)
