SEN. HARRY REID (D-NV): "Isn't it a good thing today in America that we have an automobile manufacturing sector? If it had been up to them [Republicans], General Motors would be gone. If it were up to them, Ford Motor Company would probably be gone. Chrysler definitely would be gone."

Ford did not take any bailout money from the government.

A lot of the auto companies get parts from the same suppliers. The suppliers go down, and down goes the industry.

When Reid gets reelected, we can thank the Nevada Tea Party!

Thier candidate, Angel is the leading Republican candidate and she will not get the majority vote in the general election.

There are much better qualified Republican candidates to serve the people of Nevada than Angel but, she has the baggers support.

that's exactly what happened...the Tea Party hijacked the nomination and beat the two opponents who actually had a chance of beating Reid heads up...:-x:-x

sounds like there more tea partiers than republicans. this sounds like a democrat whine, blame it on the minority party. i think the spineless repubilcans have as much to do with the problems now as the democrats. had the republicans been conservatives they would probably still be the majority. tea party members are not just mad at the current admin, but the establishment of washington as is and all involved.

The latest Rasmussen Poll July, 23 shows Angle leading Reid 46% to 43%. I hope they are right.

Angle split the republican vote in a closed primary (only registered Republicans could vote on the Rep ticket...Dems on their own ticket) the other two candidates, Lowden and Tarkanian both led Reid by double digits in head to head match ups until the final two weeks. the Tea Party scares the far right in the state and voila we have Angle.....

The Tea Party has their purpose but what happened here in NV can happen nationally..the Tea Party can stir things up but they lack the infrastructure and funding to carry on a prolonged war..they are more like a guerilla outfit that hits certain targets, do their damage and move on to the next mission

Michael Steele will be booted from the head of the RNC especially if the Republicans start celebrating early and assuming they are going to sweep the fall midterms..
