Should United States citizens view the spies as just another celebrity or is this tantamount to seditious behavior or then again something in the middle?

Yet Chapman, for one, does not seem destined to melt back into obscurity. Last week, Angelina Jolie sent her a personal invitation to the Moscow premier of Salt, a spy thriller in which Jolie plays a Russian spy.

A spy is a spy, whether attempted or successful.

I agree. It surprises me that Russia is being so boastful about the fact that they had spies in this country. It seems like they should be bending over backwards to apologize. It also seems that something stronger should be coming from the Obama administration on the matter.

And here I was thinking that they always killed themselves with the little pills hidden in their watch.

I agree. I was just cleaning some folders out and found a PowerPoint presentation. The presentation showed Hollywood actors and their WW-II military service. So many served with honor and distinction. I get home and see this article. Sun Tzu in his book "The Art of War," at some level, puts more value on spies than armies.

It seems unconscionable that Jolie could consider such a thing a wise act.

Naaah.... I say deal with them the modern way. Send a neighborhood watch to D.C. to deal with folks that loot state secrets for self-aggrandizement. Come to think of it, might put a stop to all this looting of taxpayer dollars too.
