I need some advise/help. My daughter is riding in the opening ceremonies of the World Equestrian Games on Sept. 25. My problem; need advise where to stay. The WEG website gives several motels to stay, however a minimum of 4 days is required. I would love to stay that long however I can only stay 2 days due to a judging assignment in Connecticut the following weekend.
Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.
FYI if interested you can go to www.kellymcginn.com to see pix of her and the horse she will be riding.

Also, look for hotels on the east side of Louisville. That's an hour or so drive.

There is a Super 8 the next exit north of the Equestrian Center. That is where I stay when I attend the dog show cluster there. If you haven't been there the place is beautiful.

Thanks for the info. Do you know the name of the town, or even better a phone # for them.
Hope all is well.
Louisville is also only about 45 min away lots of opportunities there

CKHRA is hosting it's annual HRC hunt test Sept 25/26 at Shelbyville, KY.
(Approximately 35 minutes or so from KY Horse Park).
We have secured a block of hotel rooms at Days Inn-Shelbyville for $69.99 per night until September 8th. After that date they could raise rates to nearly $200 per night due to the WEG.
