Bush reportedly to be stripped of Heisman



HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Bet all of you righties thought I was talking about another Bush HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA:BIG:

According to a report by the investigative bulldogs at Yahoo! Sports, the Heisman Trophy Trust is expected to strip the former USC running back of his trophy (http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news?slug=ys-bushheisman090710) in very short order, perhaps as early as this month.

I never understood the Heisman trophy. Isn't football a team sport?

If a QB puts up record stats, he didn't do it without an offensive line, RBs, and probably some equally impressive receivers.

Ditto for running backs, or any other postition that wins the trophy.

Unlike politics, where if anything goes wrong it's solely BUSH'S fault, if anything goes right it's due solely to Obama's magnificence!!!:D

I never understood the Heisman trophy. Isn't football a team sport?

If a QB puts up record stats, he didn't do it without an offensive line, RBs, and probably some equally impressive receivers.

Ditto for running backs, or any other postition that wins the trophy.

Every position has their own outstanding player award (even punters), it's just that the Heisman is the most prestigious.

Also...don't think other sports don't have "MVP" type awards. Heck...every award in the world pretty much given to an individual is dependent on that individual having support from somebody (you think Russell Crow or Denzell didn't have a lil help?)

We have the very first Maxwell Chapter in the USA right here in little old Lafayette, La. The Maxwell club is in Philidelphia, Pa. and Layette, La. and our first guest speaker was Maxwell recipient from 2000, Drew Brees. The Maxwell Club also gives annual football awards to college and high school players.
The main mission of the Lafayette club is building our Louisiana Football Legends Museum. We will enshire players from Terry Bradshaw to Marshall Faulk and from Dub Jones(Bert's father) to Peyton Manning.
