How cool ... Mayor Dailey retires, and Rahm would like the job.

Deadline for declaring candidacy is Nov. 30

I could care less about Chicago and all their crooks. Obongolo emerged from that sewer.

So if he gets defeated as mayor does he still get to keep the WH job?

You better vote for him or he'll show up nekkid in your shower.

hehehehe.......if he did that he would be missing parts. Compliments of high brass 6 and my favorite over/under. Even though I live 4 hours away, I'm sure I could vote. It is Illinois afterall. I'm just optimistic he won't get elected and won't be able to return to WH.

I was thinking that we haven't heard much about Rahm lately ... and maybe he wasn't so sure about job security in DC. Chicago seems to like to elect their mayors for life :-) ... now there's some job security.

Or maybe you will find a horse's head in your bed.

Ah, Illinois politics...I lived in Peoria in 1968-69, fresh out of college. I believe Otto Kerner was Gov. then (later went to jail??) and Daley Sr. was mayor of Chicago. Everyone down-state despised Chicago. Escaped to Minnesota soon after. Forty-plus years later have not changed those politics a bit, it seems!

Dead Fish is behind in the polls for Chicago mayor. Does that tell you something about his association with Obongolo?
