Speaking of college transcripts, Sarah Palin did not release hers either.

George W. Bush wasn’t the best college (http://www.eduinreview.com/blog/2008/10/college-transcripts-of-george-w-bush-show-c-average/#) student around. But at least he’s been up front about his college record, unlike Barack Obama (http://www.eduinreview.com/blog/2008/10/barack-obamas-gpa-and-college-records/), Joe Biden (http://www.eduinreview.com/blog/2008/10/joe-bidens-gpa-and-college-record/), and Sarah Palin (http://www.eduinreview.com/blog/2008/10/sarah-palins-gpa-and-college-record/). John McCain (http://www.eduinreview.com/blog/2008/10/john-mccains-gpa-and-college-records/), on the other hand, has been quite upfront about the fact that he was ranked 894 out of 899 in the Naval Academy.
In fact, George W. Bush has openly released his Yale University undergraduate transcript (http://2004.georgewbush.org/bios/yale-transcript.asp). As you can see, Bush truly was a solid C student. He never got an A in anything the entire time that he was in college (although he never got a D or an F either). Bush almost got As in history and anthropology, and earned a high pass in Japanese, of all things. However, he received a 71 and a 73 respectively in his two political science and government classes. His lowest grade was in sociology — a 70.

Looks like John McCain wasn't a rocket scientist either;-)

Not very hard for the Govt. to lose something. they cant hold onto SRB's between TAD's so why in the world would they be able to keep track of something decades ago? Especially something in a Guard status?

What's so important about Obama's transcript records. He couldn't have done worse then GW and he had to have a class ranking better than McCain's 844 out of 899.

So what your saying is, is that McCain graduating 844 out of 899 at the US Naval Academy is a bad thing? Because I would like to know just how many people applied to the Academy the year McCain did. At least he served, and served with honor. Do you know anything about that Roger, honor that is? I think not, just like your Messiah doesn't either.

Damn the transcripts dude, show me a birth certificate. If you can provide a birth certificate for Obama, I will come down to Florida and shine your shoes.

The truth about Obama's birth certificate.
Summary
In June, the Obama campaign released a digitally scanned image of his birth certificate to quell speculative charges that he might not be a natural-born citizen. But the image prompted more blog-based skepticism about the document's authenticity. And recently, author Jerome Corsi, whose book attacks Obama, said in a TV interview that the birth certificate the campaign has is "fake."

We beg to differ. FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as "supporting documents" to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.

Update, Nov. 1: The director of Hawaii’s Department of Health confirmed Oct. 31 that Obama was born in Honolulu.

Analysis
Update Nov. 1: The Associated Press quoted (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5iw1At-4G1xuE50oXVFRlBPfR3dqgD945OLU00)Chiyome Fukino (http://javascript<b></b>:void(0);/*1225579409906*/)as saying that both she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama's original birth certificate.

Fukino also was quoted by several other news organizations. The Honolulu Advertiser quoted Fukino (http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/20081101/NEWS05/811010345/1001/localnewsfront)as saying the agency had been bombarded by requests, and that the registrar of statistics had even been called in at home in the middle of the night.

Honolulu Advertiser, Nov. 1 2008: "This has gotten ridiculous," state health director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said yesterday. "There are plenty of other, important things to focus on, like the economy, taxes, energy." . . . Will this be enough to quiet the doubters? "I hope so," Fukino said. "We need to get some work done."
Fukino said she has “personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures."

Since we first wrote (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/has_obamas_birth_certificate_been_disclosed.html) about Obama's birth certificate on June 16, speculation on his citizenship has continued apace. Some claim that Obama posted a fake birth certificate to his Web page (http://my.barackobama.com/page/invite/birthcert). That charge leaped from the blogosphere to the mainstream media earlier this week when Jerome Corsi, author of a book attacking Obama, repeated (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6LtCiXDBak) the claim in an Aug. 15 interview with Steve Doocy on Fox News.
Corsi: Well, what would be really helpful is if Senator Obama would release primary documents like his birth certificate. The campaign has a false, fake birth certificate posted on their website. How is anybody supposed to really piece together his life?

Doocy: What do you mean they have a "false birth certificate" on their Web site?

Corsi: The original birth certificate of Obama has never been released, and the campaign refuses to release it.

Doocy: Well, couldn't it just be a State of Hawaii-produced duplicate?

Corsi: No, it's a -- there's been good analysis of it on the Internet, and it's been shown to have watermarks from Photoshop. It's a fake document that's on the Web site right now, and the original birth certificate the campaign refuses to produce.

Corsi isn't the only skeptic claiming that the document is a forgery. Among the most frequent objections we saw on forums, blogs and e-mails are:

The birth certificate doesn't have a raised seal.
It isn't signed.
No creases from folding are evident in the scanned version.
In the zoomed-in view, there's a strange halo around the letters.
The certificate number is blacked out.
The date bleeding through from the back seems to say "2007," but the document wasn't released until 2008.
The document is a "certification of birth," not a "certificate of birth."Recently FactCheck representatives got a chance to spend some time with the birth certificate, and we can attest to the fact that it is real and three-dimensional and resides at the Obama headquarters in Chicago. We can assure readers that the certificate does bear a raised seal, and that it's stamped on the back by Hawaii state registrar Alvin T. Onaka (who uses a signature stamp rather than signing individual birth certificates). We even brought home a few photographs.

You can click on the photos to get full-size versions, which haven't been edited in any way, except that some have been rotated 90 degrees for viewing purposes.

We also note that so far none of those questioning the authenticity of the document have produced a shred of evidence that the information on it is incorrect. Instead, some speculate that somehow, maybe, he was born in another country and doesn't meet the Constitution's requirement that the president be a "natural-born citizen."

I would say it was no big deal. I don't recall any other previous Presidents releasing any of their transcripts so why would it matter?

I would however like to know about the time he was missing from the National Guard in the time of war though.
President Bush defended his service in another nationally television interview, on NBC's "Meet the Press" Feb. 8:

Tim Russert: The Boston Globe and The Associated Press have gone through some of the records and said there’s no evidence that you reported to duty in Alabama during the summer and fall of 1972.
Bush: Yeah, they’re — they're just wrong. There may be no evidence, but I did report; otherwise, I wouldn't have been honorably discharged. In other words, you don't just say "I did something" without there being verification. Military doesn't work that way. I got an honorable discharge, and I did show up in Alabama.
Russert: You did — were allowed to leave eight months before your term expired. Was there a reason?
Bush: Right. Well, I was going to Harvard Business School and worked it out with the military.

I'd say it was the first correct decision he's made. I know he's not the brightest bulb in the chandelier without seeing them. Don't need transcripts to prove mediocracy.

What would be more interesting, is to see the checks that Daddy Bush wrote to Harvard and Yale!
