...and once again, the nation taking it in the drawers...conservatives finding out we have a lot more legislators to get rid of so we won't be continually getting knifed in the back. Dayum, I'm getting so tired of all the RINOS claiming to be conservative, while always siding with the liberals that seem to be hell-bent on destroying this country.

I can understand the namby-pamby losers that are the real lame-ducks only getting revenge, but when some new faces rear their ugly opinions like happened in that give-away to the communists, it just makes me sick.

Back to the drawing board you TEA bag folks. We obviously still have plenty to do...especially in the area of earmarks. Only our earmarks will be to get a real conservative to enter the primaries against these newly found turn-coats. Hey...her's a guy I'd vote for. Can we find more like him?

Put me in charge ...

Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star
cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for
50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all
the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and
frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to
get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal
ligations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol,
and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings. If you
want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats
and piercings, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a
military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean
and good state of repair. Your "home" will be subject to
inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If
you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your
own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job
each week or you will report to a "government" job. It
may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing
public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your
22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo
and speakers and put that money toward the "common
good."

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights,
realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our
money, accept our rules.. Before you say that this would be
"demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider
that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money
for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self
esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we
should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad
choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to
make bad choices.

How in the world do you stay in business? Are you capable of making a coherent, understandable statement? But then, you make a good poster boy for the rest of the lefties around here...ignorance is bliss.

Sounds a lot like a dictatorship or Communism to me. Forced birth control, forced housing with no privacy, ect.

That is not what I fought and beld to defend.

I understand the thought and vision behind the statement and to an extent agree that there are those who are and always will be a drain on society. But, unless a crime has been comitted and you plan on this being a form of re-hab then I can't/won't allow a free american to have this forced onto them beause of poor life choices that you don't agree with.

You talk about our license plate's being blocked, e mail's hacked, ect as being an intrusion of your privacy yet you are qucik and willing to back this?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, can you say double standard ...........

I don't see anything being forced. The simple fact is that if you want handouts from the gov't then you must play by certain rules. Don't go grubbing around for stuff other people work for and you are free to do as you please.
Right now the people that work hard for their money are the one's subjected to communist ways. Their hard earned money is taken from them by the gov't and given to someone who sits on their fat ass. Is that really what you fought for?

You are right...my bad. Goes to show how the MSP can have an effect on ones mind, even if subliminal. BUT, I did have the presence to at least spell it TEA with the capitalization the movement deserves.

My apologies to all fellow TEA PARTY members.

An employer can test for drugs, and use that as a gauge for refusing or severing employment. Employers (including the govt) can disallow employees from smoking on their work's property, even in their personal cars in the parking lot.

We could certainly use some labor to clean litter (and it wouldn't be interfering with what union workers are already doing). We argue over union regulations that allow people to get paid for doing nothing, but balk at requiring any kind of work from those who are collecting social services?

We have recently discussed that SS and Medicare are too much of a drain on our Fed budget, (services which have at least partially been paid for by people during their working lives) while we would hesitate to put some restraints on providing similar services for those who may never have worked for benefits being doled out, but who are still capable of some honest labor (while seniors may no longer be capable of it).

Surely there must be a reasonable and compassionate way to reconcile these extremes of the spectrum.
