I like these teams to win this weekend;

Saints
Colts
Packers
Ravens

I'm a little shakey on the Ravens, Cheifs could pull off the upset.
So, I'm going to parlay the Saints and Colts and go with the Packers and Ravens straight up.

Your picks?

The reason I want the Jets to win is two-fold. It would be great to see the Jets come to Foxborough and have the Patriots hang a 50 banger on them. that could quiet Ryan for a few weeks anyway. If the Jets win, that means they also eliminated the Colts. More good news for the Patriots.

C-Hawks - Saints this year are not the Saints of last year ;-) Your guys have never won a playoff game on the road......
Colts - Never go against Manning :) He will do his level best to keep them playing next week!!!!!!!!!
Packers, Nah - I think the Eagles will win
Ravens - Unless the score gets into the 20's

BTW - Franco, those drops of rain right now are mini-icicles going down the back of a guy's neck  .

The only thing poor weather will do is make them throw shorter passes. BTW, Saints were a better road team than home team this season. Chicago will be tough next weekend on the road but, with all the injured players we are sitting this weekend, they should be good to go next weekend;-)

I will love to see Flacco and the over hyped offense of the rats struggle and continue to choke; Jets will get to Manning and beat him up and the media will salivate all over Sanchez and Ryan to the point of nausea (I'm already there.). The saints will roll pluck the c-hawks and the beagles will flounder.

Screw all you packers pickers.. Vick and the beagles will show them!

I really think the Jets will prevail.

seahawks? cmon a 7-9 team doesnt deserve to be in the playoffs.

I don't care - have no loyalty to Carroll/Hasselhoff, in fact still PO'd about the way Paul Allen picked the taxpayers pockets for the stadium, but strange things happen in the playoffs :-P. But will check the score tomorrow to see how good a predictor you are. Giants to win, if you remember .

I remember the Giants SB win very well, we were the only two on RTF to pick them to beat the undefeated Pats;-)

I can't believe they spent 430mil on a stadium with no roof!!!

Back to watching LSU, so far they are getting thier asses kicked.

It didn't rain - & I got to see the stadium for the 1st time.

Franco - there is no doubt yours is the better team, but I guess that's why they still play the game. The Saint's did not look as good as last year, they looked beatable to often. There has to be a reason they have never won a playoff game on the road.

But, our record is now more respectable - the C hawks are 1-0 when it really counts. Wonder how it will look getting the SB trophy :).

Seahawks played with more intensity and earned the win so I won't make any excuses for today. I would love to see the Seahawks beat the Falcons!

I know how to fix the Saints. When they get thier RB's healthy, the five we have on IR, we'll have a great stable of backs with or without Reggie Bush. I don't see us paying Bush 11.7mil next season. What we need on O is a great OT or two. Strief gets too many penalties and Bushrod always needs help. Our Center and tow Guards are as good as they come.

On D, a healthy Malcom Jenkins gives us a shutdown Saftey, Sharper palyed his last game. We lost our starting OLB in the first game. He's another solid player we missed this season. Casillas was the reason we let Fujita go the Cleveland.

I didnt want to say anything...because I was like most expecting the Saints to win...

BUT I AM SOOOOOOO GLAD MY SEAHAWKS pulled it off...

I have said it all year long (locally to my 9er friends) that it doesnt help when you have 10 different combinations of offensive linemen trying to protect a very good but in the twilight of his career quarterback....they ARE better then the 7-9 record shows and they were the best team in the NFC West...(NFC WEST was the worst league, but they did desirve the championship)

They are one of the younget teams in the NFL....and with some squirming, wiggling, moving and trading a draft of a young quarterback under the wings of Hasselbeck (who was under the wing of Farve, like Rogers) will do this team wonders and they will be back on top like the 2004-2007 run...keep Whitehurst I like his look, keep Hasselbeck and have him train up an young....Locker UW, Mallet UAK, Ponder F. ST, Tayler VT, Mcelroy UAL or even that kid from UAZ...????? But personally, I think Pete left USC chiefly becasue of the investigations but secondly because he absolutly LOVES Barkley and I wouldnt be suprised if he makes a run at him...

Good luck against the Bears.

He's quite talented. And I thought all he did was 'act' and judge some stupid show!

And speaking of running, that run by Lynch at the end of the game was SICK! Where was that during fantasy season?? Sandbagger...

Hope you didn't bet much on Saturday (0 fer 2) but you're half way to 2 & 0 today, if you get the next one right you will be as accurate as flipping the coin...;-)
I made three wagers;
Saints and Colts in a parlay, when Saints lost the parlay was lost.
Ravens, winner.
Packers, in command.

I'll be very happy to hit 66%! Anything above 55% is winning.

Besides, I wagered 2.2 cubits on the parlay and 3.3 cubits on each the Ravens and Packers. A Packers win pushes the winning percentage closer to 80%. Not too shabby considering my two "locks" were the Saints and Colts, hence the parlay!

Ravens RB Ray Rice has the Flu, according to repots he was up all night vomiting.

If you can't run the ball against the Steelers, you stand little chance of beating them.

I'm switching my pick to the Steelers.

On another note, the Falcons have dropped from a 3.5 favorite to a 2.5 point favorite meaning the money is being placed on the Packers. I just wish I would have placed my bet on this game earlier in the week. I usually wait till right before game time except if my play is a parlay. I'm sticking with the Pack, I think they will win straight up.

IF I were betting on these games ( I didnt bet the NFL all year long, horrible at it)

my M/L picks would be

Steelers

Packers

Seahawks

Patriots

now if I was betting with the point spread in mind

BAL/PIT - over 37

GNB - + 2

SEA - + 10, under 42.5

NWE- -9 ,under 44.5

now based on my NFL betting experience/record, if you take my picks and reverse them , you should do quite well....

Yeah, I didn't see a hold, but the announcer said he got a good hook in with whatever view he saw. I think the penalties are being over-called in general.

Also, these unsportsman conduct calls for chit chat after the whistle should almost be 100% offsetting. They're NEVER one sided, and usually no big deal anyway. I hate to see them flagged.

I agree with the whiskey.

Oh, and FWIW, I was sad to see the Saints go down early. My dream Superbowl would be an all Black and Gold Bowl. Would be no losers in my abode.

Nice Kickoff Return by the Falcons. Can't figure out why all the experts went with GB on this one. Falcons are the Number 1 seed at home. They've only lost one game at home in what, two years or something. No respect. No doubt it fired up the Birds just that much more.

Really was surprised that the score was that lopsided. GB came very close to not winning against the Eagles ... literally inches with Celek's step out of bounds on what would have been a touchdown (and the 2 missed FGs as well)

I had two dozen full-bodies decoys out and a confidence bird. For the confidence bird I use a Snowy Egret. The Snow was pretty high when I shot it and it fell right on top of my Egret and snapped the stem holding it up in half. I think I can super-glue it back together.

NP better start pulling their heads outa their collective arses, or they'll be watching the SB from the sidelines.

Much like the Saints, they are so damned full of themselves they look like a batch of high schoolers that are a 50 point favorite. The Coach better earn his top flight salary at half time, or we'll have a SB that will be a joke...meaning not one of the teams are worth a crap.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THE TWO BEST TEAMS IN THE NFC ARE IN THE CENTRAL DIVISION?????

G F F!!!!

This game has nothing to do with the Jets...they remain horrible. NE on the other hand are playing down to below the Jets pathetic play. Linemen don't block, receivers drop passes in the end zone, or can't get open...and Tom Terrific is obviously playing like someone said something naughty to him, and he can't quite get over it.

I watched more missed tackles by Pat secondary in the first quarter than what they did in a full game prior to this. WOW...guess all the opposition needs to do is open their BIG MOUTHS and it will be enough to rattle what was a few weeks ago, the only real NFL team in the country.

The Pats are playing like the regulations have gotten to them...no more smash-mouth football by them. Just do a lot of shoving and pushing...let's not be too aggresive. What a joke! But then, most of the league has gotten so sissified, it's no longer PROFESSIONAL football.

60 Minutes has a bit tonight on Bill Walters the most dangerous sports better in Vegas.

I know Billy Walters and he aint that dangerous , he is a hustler and has leveraged and some may say swindled quite a few land deals with his golf /real estate business...been very nice to me,on and off the golf course...

the most dangerous bettor used to be the late billionaire Kerry Packer, he was so feared because of his large bets only the Mirage would accept his plays

Hope you didn't bet the farm!

Jets may have beaten them once this year but the Steelers were missing three main players. There's a good chance all three may play at some point in the game, if not three, than two for sure. I'm not sure if the jets have enough in the tank after last week. They acted like they won the super bowl after that game.

Packers are a 3.5 point favorite to win.

Being a Divisonal rivalry played at Soldier Field in poor conditions, I have to take the Bears and the 3.5 points.

Steelers are a 3.5 point favorite to win.

Again, playing in poor conditions. Whatever Rex is telling them behind closed doors is working for them. I not only like the Jets with the 3.5 points but, they stand a great chance of upsetting the Steelers straight up.

Didn't the Patriots lose their first round pick a few years ago for cheating against the Jets?

While written from a Pittsburgh perspective, this essay definately applies to ALL FOUR teams in the chase right now....and their fans. Its an interesting take on the game.

I called my father a few minutes after the Steelers' last Super Bowl victory. Amid friends jumping up and down and high-fiving, and the kids complaining about the adult noise, I asked my dad what he thought.

"It was a good game," was his reaction to the historic win. "But that offensive coordinator, he's an idiot. They should fire him."

My father is a true Steelers fan. A true Pittsburgh fan.

With all due respect to the people tailgating in Steelers' gear and singing "Pittsburgh's going to the Super Bowl," they are not so much fans as enthusiasts (personally, I fall into this category). Enthusiasts hope to win -- they even expect to win. They want to have fun. Lifelong fans regard enthusiasts indulgently, like small children. Perhaps they will come to wisdom in time and become true fans.

True fans understand that loving a team means suffering. After a lifetime following a team, don't hope for brilliance or miracles. It is better to expect bad decisions, last-minute fumbles and 80-yard drives that end in interceptions. Don't be surprised that the offensive linemen assume the football has been whistled dead and watch a defender scoop it up. Assume from the outset that every time you run a reverse you will lose yardage.

The suffering of true fans is not limited to the Steelers.

"The natural state of the football fan is bitter disappointment, no matter what the score," wrote British author Nick Hornby in his memoir "Fever Pitch," about his years following the Arsenal soccer club. An American is once said to have told Scottish soccer fans after a defeat that it didn't look like they had much fun.

'What makes you think it's supposed to be fun?" was their answer.

My father is also a lifelong Pirates fan, which explains a lot. He has followed nearly every game since the 1940s, including the last 18 losing seasons, never expecting them to win, and often predicting accurately the inning in which they would blow a lead. But watching each game to the bitter end.

True fans reach a Zen state. They have valuable lessons to teach.

Buddha taught that wisdom begins with the realization that life means suffering, and we should conduct ourselves accordingly. Expect defeat and disappointment and you will not be disappointed. Victory is almost always a brief prelude before defeat. Winning the Super Bowl is a temporary high moment that presages a bad draft and a lackluster season.

For enthusiasts, this outlook seems depressing, even disloyal. Far from it. It is unquestioning love and commitment. Break my heart, it says. Disappoint me. Trample my hopes. I will never leave you. I will come back time and time again.

True fans live the kind of masochistic love the Supremes used to sing about.

My father has passed his wisdom along. My brothers and nephews watch Steelers games in a state of agony, expecting disaster and folly at every turn, even if they allow a sliver of optimism about playing the Jets rather than New England. They have no illusions -- but they will never turn away.

Heath Miller....CLEARLY a catch at the 2. Taken away.

Then 4th and 1, hurry up offense with over a yard and a half to go....the officials kindly give the Jets Defense a free time out to measure!!!! Almost 2 yards short, and they call for sticks??? The offense didn't even call for a measure!

That makes it perfectly clear.

In case you didn't notice, its January. Soon to be February. Real men play football in the weather, just like real men hunt. No air-conditioned, carpeted arenas.

If you missed it, Pittsburgh and GreenBay just won hard fought games in single digit real weather. Both teams have been around since the NFL was started with classy owners and fans. What did Jerry jones and Dallas do to earn the privelage of watching REAL football for a change? Well, anyway, they'll get a lesson is class from BOTH teams, no matter who takes the trophy home.

Jones and the City of Arlington invested just over $One Billion to build the finest sports arenas in the country. If you'll check, the Cowboys have a pretty impressive history going neck to neck with both the Steelers and Packers since the 60's and haven't been around near as long. Oh, if you knew anything about football, you would understand giving up the middle of the field and running time plays when you're up by 4 scores in the second half. Especially after TOTALLY controlling the ball during the first on both ends of the field.

Video: Was Sanchez's arm going forward before Pittsburgh TD? (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Video-Was-Sanchez-s-arm-going-forward-before-Pi?urn=nfl-311355)

By Chris Chase (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner?author=Chris+Chase)

Before William Gay (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/8424/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/8424/news) had even crossed the goal line, CBS announcer Jim Nantz was openly questioning whether the fumble recovered by the Pittsburgh Steelers (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/pit/) cornerback late in the first half of the AFC championship was legit. New York Jets (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/nyj/) quarterback Mark Sanchez (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/9269/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/9269/news) had lost the ball while in a throwing motion and if it was determined upon replay that his arm had been going forward before Ike Taylor (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6461/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6461/news) jarred the ball loose, the Jets would get the ball back.
It was either a fumble, a Pittsburgh

clearly a fumble. No doubt whatsoever.

Heath Miller's reception on the two yardline was CLEARLY a clean catch also, with complete control and an arm under the ball. But they took that away.

And NEVER do you see officials calling for a measurement during a hurry up offense when the OFFENSE itself knows they're far short of the first down marker! That was Hochulee giving a free time out to the Jets to let them get their defense organized and in place. That call should be reviewed by the NFL. They were nearly two yards short!

Makes the victory even sweeter when the officials, despite trying, can't take it away!

The new Cowboy Stadium is the finest sports arena in the world and the future of the NFL. Teams that play in temp controled stadiums do not need poor weather to win.;-)

BTW, no other team comes close to the Cowboys in selling thier logo wear and gear. Lisensed Cowboy/NFL gear out sells the N Y Yankees! I'm not a Cowboys fan but, giving credit were due. Franco, don't BOTH teams have to play in the same conditions, regardless of whether it's inside a dome or outside? how, exactly does one team gain an advantage over the other in terms of environmental conditions when they are both playing on the same field?

perhaps Mr. Jones needs to spend his money on what matters-quality coaches and players.-Paul

Some teams play in poor conditions on a regular basis which gives them an advantage. I would rathers see the team with the most talent and best coaching win and not a team that has to depend on poor conditions to slow the opponet down.

As a fan, there is no way I am going to sit in zero weather or 92 degree heat with high humidity for 3.5 hours to watch a game.

I will admit that I missed yesterday's games and from the highlights on the NFL channel, both fields seem to be playable. No snow or slop but, they did have to deal with frozen conditions.

Here is a trivia question for you;

Over the last twenty years, only two teams have won 3 Super Bowls. The Patriots and which other team?

Hint- that team still has the same owner.

You don't "win" until they hand your owner the Lombardi Trophy.

If you forgot, Ed Hochulee, to my knowledge, is the only official that was made to apologize to a team (Steelers) for a call that was so bad, the NFL admitted it and apologized.

Pittsburgh and Hochulee have a long history.

I don't know about that, but I do know that one of the refs from the crew that GAVE the Steelers a win in the SB over the Seahawks a few years ago publicly apologized to the team and fans in Seattle this year for the travesty that happened that day. Big Ugly and the Steelers got a gift that day. They won the game yesterday, but you still want to cry about a few calls that did not go your way. You chastise others in this thread about "class"... I am talking Modern Era.

You know, since the merger of the AFL with the NFL bring the league to the 28 plus teams and 14 or more game season.

Not to say that the Packers weren't a great team in the old NFL days when the season ended at Thanksgiving and there were only 12 teams and the playoffs consisted of one playoff game.

Then and now, apples to oranges.

You can stick with your pre Super Bowl era but not many are going to take that era into consideration when talking about great franchises. And, I am not saying GB is not a great franchise, only that the Steelers are the greatest because they not only have done it in the SB era but the TV era as well.

When the talking heads start yapping up the coming SB, they won't be talking about championships of the pre SB era but, they will be talking about the Steelers 6 SB titles and GB's 3.

Lost in the chatter after the Bears-Packers game regarding a quarterback who didn’t play after suffering a knee injury is the question of whether a quarterback in the same game played with a head injury.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&id=3118) took a helmet to the jaw from Bears defensive end Julius Peppers with less than 12 minutes in the fourth quarter and the Packers leading 14-7. On the field, much of the discussion in the aftermath of the play and the personal foul it drew focused on whether Peppers deserved to be flagged. Obviously, he did. The reverse angle shows Rodgers’ head getting rattled (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guG2vd-uAfY) by the placement of Peppers’ helmet into Aaron’s ear hole.
It was less clear to us whether Rodgers was exhibiting the obvious symptoms of someone who has suffered a concussion. Since then, it’s been tempting to wonder whether Rodgers willed himself to get up and hold it together after taking a hit that, given his two concussions during the regular season, easily could have resulted in a third.
Shawn Doherty of Madison.com’s The Capital Times delves into question of whether Rodgers suffered a concussion (http://host.madison.com/ct/news/local/health_med_fit/article_20a7a8f2-280b-11e0-aca5-001cc4c03286.html), and whether the Packers failed to attempt to diagnose it. In this regard, Doherty writes that Rodgers looked “woozy and wobbling about with dazed eyes.” If anything, Rodgers looked to us like, at worst, a guy who was fighting to not seem woozy and wobbly, since he realized that if he seemed woozy and wobbly he’d be evaluated for yet another concussion — and possibly yanked from the game.

This whole "leading with the head" issue is being looked at the wrong way. If you want to "de-weaponize" the helmet, make it soft. Padding will still protect the noggin from concussion just the same, the hard shell serves no purpose on a grass or turf field.

In the old days, men "led with their heads", but just not as hard, and you probably didn't have as many concussions. (we'll never know, due to lack of records and awareness)

Its hard to make a game involving tackling and hitting, and then ban "leading with your head"....since our head is at one end of our bodies, and we can't run backwards very well to use the other end.

That's crap.
Leading with the head.
That's called "Head Hunting".
Should be fined a bazillion amount of money.
Hockey (where checking is allowed and used affectively) doesn't tolerate the darn head hunting.
Cheap shots are for players thats all they have going for them. Not good but cheap.
Talk to me when you are sitting in intensive care with someone that has taken such a shot to the head. :-x

In case you have not noticed the officials are calling penalities on players that go helmet to helmet. The NFL is also fining players that have helmet to helmet contact but sometimes that cannot be avoided. If a player ducks at the last second a defender may not have enough time to readjust his tackle because things happen in split seconds time and most tackles are made with the shoulder and with the head down, not up.

Hockey on the other hand uses body checks with their head up not going in head first. The object is to knock the other player off the puck not make a tackle.

In the GB/Chicago game no such penalty was called when Rogers was drilled in the jaw by the top of Peppers helmet and at the same time hit in the head by a Bears player coming from the other side. Rogers did not duck (didn't have time to) and got hit in the head by both guys... no flag. As of yet, no fine from the league either.

Been there, done that. Put a ventriculostomy into a brain.

That's why I want soft helmets. I'm looking for an effective solution, one that does NOT depend on people following rules. We know that never works, that's why we invented "penalties".

Oh, and I believe one reason hockey players don't lead with their heads is twofold. One, you can lower your body in the same manner as you do with cleats on grass. Two, I think hockey players carry a big stick with them! Of course, we NEVER see penalties for cross-checking, do we?

ps...do YOU want to tell James Harrison that cheap hits is all he has going for him? That's kind of silly, eh?

And if the officials missed a call whose fault was that? You will have to ask whomever is in charge of handing out fines why this hit was overlooked;-)

Its a bedside procedure in NICUs. Its done to relieve intracranial pressure by siponing off CSF. Its done to save lives. Yes, in that regard, I am proud to have been able to help those who have needed one. Gabby Giffords just had one removed.

I think you misunderstood my comments. I want to see soft helmets again, in order to reduce this activity.

M&K, you're right. My specialty is colon and rectal surgery. However, when dealing with right wing extremists, I do indeed get a glance into their brains! ;)
But as a general surgeon also, part of the job is trauma. I haven't put in a ventric in many years, and really don't care to do so again.

A friend of mine published the book "Never the same once air touches the Brain" about training to become a neurosurgeon. There's something to be said for that. Many folks that need a ventric don't do well.

How will the soft helmets prevent the aholes of the game from successing with bashing someone's head in.?
Suspension and a very very large fine. I don't know. I hate to see anyone hurt that is preventable.
And yes the reason that youngsters are taught to keep their head up in hockey "IS" to prevent injuries of their head when falling either from getting checked(PeeWee's and up) or falling on their own free will(opps falls).
Checking is taught and allowed in (PeeWee level and up maybe changed next yr. to reflect Bantams and up)to take control of the puck only NOT to just hit someone.
Hitting someone for the hell of it is called:Unsportsman- like -conduct and can be a minor penalty or a major depending on the severity.
Most kids have on their jersey's patches that reflect the "Zero Tolerance" policy of USA Hockey, Both for parents(spectators) and players.
Trying to teach from the ground floor.
Now if only the NFL or NHL only set good examples:rolleyes:

According to the NFL, in order to be penalized for a helmet to helmet hit it has to be determined that it was used as a weapon. Apparently the officials or the league officials did not feel that the hit to Rogers was a blatent hit.

Other Helmet Related Penalties

<LI id=jsArticleStep1 itxtvisited="1">According to NFL helmet rules, a player who illegally uses the top of his helmet as a weapon, removes his helmet on the field of play (except when injured) or attacks the head of the quarterback will be hit with a 15-yard penalty. Using a helmet that is not being worn as a weapon results in a 15-yard penalty and automatic disqualification from the game.

ESPN.com news services

Chicago Bears (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/chi/chicago-bears) defensive end Julius Peppers (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=3530) was fined $10,000 for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Green Bay Packers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/gb/green-bay-packers) quarterback Aaron Rodgers (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8439) in Sunday's NFC Championship Game, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

On Wednesday, Rodgers shot down speculation that he sustained another concussion on the Peppers hit and credited his helmet for potentially preventing another significant head injury.
Rodgers switched helmets after sustaining two concussions earlier this season, although he has been hesitant to share details about how the new helmet might be safer.
"Not too much to talk about," Rodgers said. "I didn't have a concussion. I want to dispel that rumor. No concussion. I was fine. Yeah. Helmets are designed to prevent concussions, I think."

Jeff Fischer out at Tennessee.

That makes 10 HC firings this season, almost one-third turnover in HC's!

Longest tenured HC, took his team to the SB once. Seems like they had a great regular season three years ago, lost in the first round and the team has never recovered.

Is the real failure of the team Bud Adam's decision to draft Vince Young? I think so.

Some team is going to windup with a solid HC and it was time for Fischer to head for greener pastures.

He would be an excellent GM or HC with the Cowboys!

I played Defensive End back in the day for Truman State.
We all chipped in $5 (about $35-$55 total).
Whoever could put a hit on the pretty boy and make him go sit down for a while, or make him cry or got the best shot on him or drew blood won the pool!!!

James Harrison said it best, when he said, "hell yes" I want to HURT someone. But I don't want to INJURE them.

He went on to address Sue's misconception:

Ok, you tell football players to stand perfectly still when they're about to get hit. Stop running, don't lower your body, just stand there and take your clean, fair, delicate hit like a good little football player!

I've had my knee blown out playing football. I've had concussions on the field. I can tell you what still hurts whenever I spend all day afield or when I still try to run.

And I've played both ice hockey and football. They're not remotely similar when it comes to contacting the opponent, and comparisons aren't really valid.

As a retried atheletic trainer at the pro football level & college hockey: If you are not keeping up with the current research on head injuries I would suggest you do. As a current physical therapist medicine can replace a "shot knee, shoulder or ankle?"; but not a brain or the long term after effects of head injuries.
