Kansas City RC Fun Trial Feb 5&6

The Kansas City Retriever Club will be hosting its annual fun trial to be held February 5 &6 at the James A Reed Memorial Conservation Area outside of Kansas City. Registration will take place from 8:30 a.m. -9a.m. each day. Events will start at 9 a.m.

Saturday's events will be the Derby,Novice, senior puppy (over 6 months-1 year) and jr puppy stakes.

Sunday's events will be the open and qual stakes. At noon their will be a q&A session for new or less experienced trainers to utilize more experienced club members knowledge of dog training.

Fees for the events are :Jr/Senior puppy - $5 members/$10 non-members, derby/novice - $7 members/12 non, qual - $10 member/15 non, open - $12 member/$15 non.

Membership applications will be accepted on site and member prices will be given to those joining the KCRC.

I think the puppy stakes will be the ones to watch. Lots of good puppies in the area right now.

Just a reminder about the Fun Trial. Hopefully the weather will warm up and melt some of this white stuff away!!!!!!

Due to the winter storm conditions around the KC area, the KCRC has decided to cancel the fun trial. We will try again during the first weekend in March. Location TBA at a later date.
